FOLEY, AL — On Monday, October 12, 2026, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce joined community leaders, team members, and local supporters to celebrate the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for H&S Appliance Outlet, located at 801 South McKenzie Street in Foley.

Founded and operated by owner Kelley Burgess, the woman owned business specializes in providing reliable, top quality major home appliances—including new, scratch-and-dent, and overstock refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and more—at budget friendly prices backed by warranty protection.

During the ceremony, Burgess expressed heartfelt appreciation for her team and shared what the moment meant to her personally as a woman embarking on this business venture.

To kick off their grand opening, H&S Appliance Outlet announced a dual grand opening giveaway featuring a 36-inch FORNO French Door Refrigerator—a premium stainless-steel unit featuring a 20.0 cu. ft. capacity, dual-drawer freezer, and external ice and water dispenser—alongside a brand-new grill.

Dedicated to giving back to the community, Kelley Burgess emphasized her commitment to long-term local involvement. To support local families, H&S Appliance Outlet will host a monthly appliance giveaway, with plans to expand its community outreach initiatives in the future.

District Councilman Tim Lower attended the event to present congratulations on behalf of the city. He commended Burgess and her team for their investment in Foley and expressed gratitude for the positive economic growth and valuable retail service the business brings to South Baldwin County.
