The Lower Alabama Young Professionals (LAYP) are teaming up with Turkey Take-Out to collect canned goods and non-perishable food items for local families in need this holiday season.

Turkey Take-Out is a community-wide effort partnering with local schools, churches, and organizations in Foley, Gulf Shores, and surrounding areas to deliver complete Thanksgiving meals and fill food pantries for over 1,500 residents. To support this mission, LAYP and the South Baldwin Chamber are placing donation boxes at several participating businesses throughout the community.

Members of the community are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items—such as canned green beans, corn, gravy, stuffing mix, canned yams, and pantry staples—at designated host locations.

Key Details:

• Collection Deadline: Wednesday, November 18th
• Drop-off Locations: South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and participating local business partners
• Goal: Fill pantries and ensure local families have a warm, complete meal on Thanksgiving Day
