FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — October 14, 2026 — What can 22 volunteers accomplish in just two hours? If you ask Eco Clean Marine and the Odom Hotelz Team, the answer is simple: 49 five-gallon buckets of trash collected and a whole lot of love for the Gulf Coast!

On October 14, 2026, Eco Clean Marine partnered with the Odom Hotelz Team for a community cleanup at Ross Marler Park in Fort Walton Beach, bringing together volunteers ready to roll up their sleeves and give the local coastline a little extra care.

Armed with buckets, a can-do attitude, and a shared commitment to protecting the environment, the group got straight to work. In just two hours, the 22 volunteers filled 49 five-gallon buckets with trash, a powerful reminder that small actions can add up to a big impact when people work together.

That’s the equivalent of 245 gallons of bucket capacity filled with collected trash in a single morning!

Beyond the impressive numbers, the cleanup was about something even bigger: bringing people together to care for the places we all enjoy. Ross Marler Park is a special part of the Fort Walton Beach community, and keeping our coastal spaces clean helps create a healthier environment for residents, visitors, and the wildlife that call the Gulf Coast home.

Eco Clean Marine is grateful to the Odom Hotelz Team for partnering on this effort and extends a huge thank-you to every volunteer who showed up, pitched in, and helped make the event a success.

“Every bucket collected represents people choosing to make a difference,” said Courtney Dombroski, Executive Director of Eco Clean Marine. “We’re so thankful to the Odom Hotelz Team and all the volunteers who gave their time and energy. When 22 people come together for just two hours, amazing things can happen!”

The October 14 cleanup is another example of how local partnerships can turn community spirit into meaningful environmental action. Whether it’s picking up litter at a local park, joining a beach cleanup, or encouraging a friend to get involved, everyone has a role to play in protecting our coastlines.

Want to be part of the next cleanup? Eco Clean Marine encourages local businesses, organizations, and individuals to get involved. Together, we can keep our beaches beautiful, protect marine life, and make every bucket count!
