Eco Clean Marine and City of Bay Minette Team Up for Dual Location Community Cleanup
Bay Minette, AL, April 18, 2026 — Two parks, nine volunteers, 1.5 hours, and 18 five-gallon buckets of trash removed. Eco Clean Marine partnered with the City of Bay Minette for a successful community cleanup that brought volunteers together to make a visible impact across two locations in Bay Minette.
The cleanup took place at Ulmer Park and George B Halliday Park, where volunteers spent the morning collecting litter from green spaces and surrounding areas. Though small in numbers, the group made a big difference, proving that even a focused team can create meaningful results.
Throughout the event, volunteers uncovered trash hidden in plain sight, items often overlooked but capable of causing long-term harm to local parks, waterways, and wildlife. By removing debris from two separate locations, the team helped improve shared community spaces while raising awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship.
“This cleanup shows how much can be accomplished when people come together with a shared purpose,” said Courtney Dombroski, founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine. “Every cleanup matters, no matter the size of the group. Small actions add up to long-term change.”
The partnership between Eco Clean Marine and the City of Bay Minette highlights a shared commitment to creating cleaner, healthier spaces for residents and future generations.
Eco Clean Marine continues to host cleanup events throughout the Gulf Coast, encouraging community members to get involved and take part in protecting local environments.
