Eco Clean Marine and Alabama Young Professionals Unite for One of the Largest Gulf Shores Cleanups
Gulf Shores, AL – July 18, 2026 – Eco Clean Marine partnered with Alabama Young Professionals this past weekend for a community-wide trash pickup in Gulf Shores, bringing together 46 volunteers who collected 65 five-gallon buckets of trash in just one hour and thirty minutes.
The cleanup highlighted the power of community collaboration and demonstrated the impact that dedicated volunteers and local organizations can have when working toward a shared goal. From protecting marine life to preserving the beauty of Alabama's coastline, every bucket collected represented another step toward a cleaner, healthier Gulf Coast.
The event also served as a reminder that environmental stewardship goes beyond picking up litter. It creates opportunities for people to connect, serve their community, and inspire others to become part of the solution.
Eco Clean Marine extends its sincere appreciation to Alabama Young Professionals for partnering on the cleanup and helping make it one of the organization's largest volunteer events. Their leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment to community service played a significant role in the success of the morning.
The organization also thanks The Hangout for generously providing breakfast to volunteers before the cleanup. Their hospitality helped bring the group together and energized participants as they prepared to make a difference along the coast.
"Cleanups like this show what's possible when a community comes together with a shared purpose," said Courtney Dombroski, Founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine. "Every volunteer, every partnership, and every bucket of trash collected helps create a healthier future for our waterways and inspires others to take action."
If you weren’t able to join us this weekend, you can still make a lasting impact. Right now, Jack Johnson’s All At Once Foundation is matching every dollar donated, doubling your gift and helping us continue hosting cleanups, expanding environmental education, and protecting the waterways we all love.
Eco Clean Marine continues to host cleanups throughout the Gulf Coast, encouraging individuals, businesses, schools, and community organizations to get involved in protecting local waterways and marine ecosystems.
