FOLEY, Ala. — The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce recently joined local leaders, customers, business partners, and community members to celebrate the grand reopening and ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Blossman Gas & Appliance showroom in Foley.

The event marked a significant investment in the local community and celebrated the company's longstanding presence in Baldwin County. Founded in 1951, Blossman Gas has grown to become the largest family-owned propane company in the United States. The Foley branch has proudly served the area since 1980, building lasting relationships with customers throughout Baldwin and Escambia counties.

Speaking on behalf of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Member Engagement Director Alicia Watts congratulated the Blossman team on the renovation and thanked them for their continued commitment to the region.

"The remodeling is spectacular," said Watts. "Whenever I think of Blossman Gas, I think about my dad, my grandpa, and generations of families who have been coming here for years. Thank you for everything you've done for our community and for everything you continue to do."

During the ceremony, Branch Manager Rob thanked the community for its decades of support and reflected on the partnerships that have contributed to the company's success.

"First and foremost, thank you for being here," said Rob. "A huge thank you to the community, to Baldwin County and Escambia County. It's truly been our customers that have gotten us to where we are today. We've been here since 1980, and if it wasn't for the community supporting us, we wouldn't be here."

Rob also recognized the efforts of the Blossman team and the collaborative work that made the showroom renovation possible.

"Between the community and the team, the hard work that they do has made all of this happen," he said. "We are truly grateful, and we're looking forward to many more years in the future with the partnerships that we have."

Throughout the day, Blossman Gas & Appliance welcomed customers, partners, and community members to celebrate the grand reopening. The team served complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers to visitors while showcasing the newly renovated showroom and sharing information about the company's products and services.

As part of the celebration, Blossman Gas offered special one-day promotions, including propane fills for $2.50 per gallon in recognition of America's upcoming 250th anniversary and 10 percent off service work scheduled through the end of the month. The company also partnered with CURE Childhood Cancer, donating 50 percent of the day's profits to support the organization's mission.

Rob said the event was about more than celebrating a renovation—it was an opportunity to thank the community that has supported Blossman Gas for generations.

"We look forward to being able to do this annually," he said. "To have a nice event, to get everybody back together, and to be able to support organizations like CURE. This is a big deal for us today. It really is."

South Baldwin Chamber Chairman Mark Ingram, who also serves as Vice President of Corporate Services and Public Relations for Baldwin EMC, congratulated Blossman Gas on reaching a remarkable milestone.

"Congratulations on 75 years," said Ingram. "That's amazing, and you've done an amazing job with this building."

The remodeled showroom features a wide selection of propane-powered appliances and products, including fireplaces, ranges, grills, outdoor cooking equipment, water heaters, generators, and more. Customers can explore energy-efficient solutions for their homes and businesses while receiving guidance from Blossman's knowledgeable staff. In addition to propane delivery and tank installation, the company continues to provide residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural energy solutions throughout the Gulf Coast region.
