Destin, FL – May 30, 2026 — What can 15 dedicated volunteers accomplish in just 1.5 hours? At Eco Clean Marine's recent cleanup in Destin, the answer was clear: 35 five-gallon buckets of trash removed from the community.

On May 30th, Eco Clean Marine volunteers gathered at Fat Boys Parking Lot in Destin for a morning dedicated to protecting local waterways, wildlife, and public spaces. Armed with grabbers, buckets, and a shared commitment to a cleaner environment, the team set out to make a difference.

By the end of the cleanup, volunteers had collected an impressive 35 buckets of litter from the area. The large amount of debris removed highlights the importance of community cleanups and the positive impact volunteers can make in a short amount of time.

From streets and public spaces to areas near the waterfront, every piece of trash collected represented one less threat to marine life and one more step toward a healthier Gulf Coast.

"This cleanup is a great example of what can happen when people come together with a common purpose," said Courtney Dombroski, Founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine "The dedication of our volunteers continues to inspire us, and the results speak for themselves."

The cleanup also served as a reminder that environmental stewardship starts at the community level. Small actions, when multiplied by a group of passionate volunteers, can create a significant and lasting impact.

Eco Clean Marine extends its gratitude to all 15 volunteers who gave their time and energy to help make Destin cleaner and healthier for residents, visitors, and wildlife alike.

As cleanup efforts continue throughout the Gulf Coast, Eco Clean Marine encourages community members to get involved and be part of the movement toward cleaner waterways and stronger coastal communities.
