An Evening of New Connections, Community Partnerships, and Chamber Networking
FOLEY, Ala. — The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce welcomed members and local professionals to a record-setting July Business After Hours, hosted by Renasant Bank of Foley. As the first Business After Hours hosted by Renasant Bank, the event drew an outstanding crowd and created an evening filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and community engagement.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by The Tin Top Restaurant & Oyster Bar, while the warm, welcoming atmosphere provided the perfect setting to network with fellow Chamber members, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new business relationships.
Business After Hours continues to be one of the Chamber's premier networking opportunities, bringing together business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across South Baldwin. By gathering at a different Chamber member business each month, these events not only strengthen professional relationships but also highlight the outstanding businesses that help drive our local economy. Whether meeting a potential client, discovering a new business resource, or simply catching up with colleagues, every conversation helps build a stronger and more connected business community.
A special highlight of the evening was Renasant Bank's partnership with Rapahope Children's Retreat Foundation. Before the evening's door prize drawings, George Noonan, Division President for Coastal Alabama with Renasant Bank, welcomed guests and shared the bank's commitment to building relationships and investing in the communities it serves. Renasant's community-first approach has been a cornerstone of the bank since its founding in 1904, and today it continues to serve customers throughout the Southeast by combining financial expertise with a strong commitment to local communities.
Guests also heard from Melissa McNichol, Executive Director of Rapahope Children's Retreat Foundation, who shared the organization's inspiring mission of providing year-round camp experiences and support programs for children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Her remarks offered a meaningful reminder of the impact local organizations can have when businesses and nonprofits work together to serve the community.
The evening concluded with exciting door prizes and the Chamber's popular Split-the-Pot drawing, benefiting the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation and its educational enrichment programs serving 14 local schools throughout the Foley High and Elberta High School feeder pattern. The Chamber extends a special thank-you to the Split-the-Pot winner, who graciously donated her winnings back to the Foundation in support of local students and educators.
