The Solid Waste Disposal Authority (SWDA) of Baldwin County, Alabama, Inc. is committed to serving the success and growth of Baldwin County, its residents, businesses and partnering organizations through appropriate solid waste disposal and recycling initiatives. Along with the mission of the Baldwin County Commission is to provide customer-focused services to people who live, work and visit Baldwin County so they can enjoy a safe and thriving community and experience our unique heritage and natural resources. SWDA formerly known as Baldwin County Solid Waste operates 1 Sanitary Landfill, 2 Construction & Demolition (C&D) Landfills & 1 Transfer Station. We manage the overall Residential Garbage Collection services for all of unincorporated Baldwin County, to include, Summerdale, Bay Minette, Perdido Beach and Spanish Cove.
